125 hectares of former royal garden. The Estanque Grande has rowboats and a colonnade monument. The Crystal Palace — glass pavilion from 1887 — hosts free contemporary art by the Reina Sofia. Rose garden peaks May-June. Late Sunday morning for Madrid families claiming the park. Free, dawn to midnight.
